MidlandPlus Electrical successfully delivered a full smart lighting installation within a 128,000 square foot warehouse in Lutterworth, creating a modern, efficient, and future-ready lighting solution tailored to the operational demands of a large-scale industrial facility.

This four-week project involved the design, supply, and installation of a comprehensive smart lighting system across a high-level warehouse environment.
A key element of the installation was the introduction of a new cable management system, suspended at 12 metres. This allowed for safe, organised distribution of services while keeping operational floor space completely clear—critical for warehouse efficiency and logistics.
All high-level works were carried out using MEWPs by fully trained and certified operatives, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety standards throughout the project.
In addition to the lighting installation, MidlandPlus Electrical upgraded the facility’s power infrastructure. This included the installation of new submains feeding into three-phase Schneider fuse boards, providing a robust and scalable electrical distribution system ready for future expansion.
The end result is a high-performance lighting system that enhances visibility, improves energy efficiency, and delivers a clean, professional finish across the entire warehouse.
